Would you allow this happen to your son?

Allow one of his closest friends to betray him? (Matthew 26:14-15, 48-49)
Allow him to be found guilty (in an illegal court) of a crime he didn't commit, then be condemned to death? (Matthew 26:57-66)
Allow evil men to spit in his face? (Matthew 26:67)
Allow evil men to mock him and make fun of him? (Luke 22:63)
Allow evil men to beat him? (Luke 22:63)
Allow evil men to blindfold him at beat him in the face? (Luke 22:64)
Allow evil men to pull his beard out by the handful? (Isaiah 50:6)
Allow evil men to put a crown of thorns on his head and then beat him over the head with a reed (driving the thorns into his head!)? (Matthew 26:29-30)
Allow the government to whip him with a "cat-of-nine-tails" which ripped the flesh from his body? (Mark 15:15)
Allow the government to beat him so badly that he was hardly recognizable as a human being? (Isaiah 52:14)
Allow the government to drive spikes through his hands and feet as part of his public execution? (Psalm 22:16)
Allow the government to use those spikes to fix him to a cross in order to execute him?

And would you allow all of this to happen to YOUR son so that someone else could go free...someone who was guilty...someone who DID deserve it?

We would all say, "NO!!!"

However...God said, "YES!!! For there's no other way to redeem sinful man.  I will send MY SON, so that man can go free! I will send MY SON to pay for man's guilt of sin! I will send MY SON for mankind...even though they don't deserve it!"

Isaiah 53:4-11
4  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

Yes, this is what Jesus did for all mankind.  He took our punishment! Oh what a great and merciful God we serve! Oh to marvel at His great love for us...to bask in his grace...Oh, my precious Lord Jesus, I am so thankful.  My soul rejoices that You love me! To spend my life praising you for what you've done will never suffice; it will never be enough! I am so unworthy of such love.  All I can do is thank you...and thank you...and thank you forever more!
Dear Jesus, with all of my heart, I thank you for loving me with such love!

Something To Think About ......... PDF Print E-mail

Here is something to think about .............

The average life span for a person living today is about 78 years.
If you are currently 60 years old ; you have expired a little over 75% of your estimated life time.

If you are currently in your late 30's or early 40's then half of your expected life is over.

If you are currently in your late teens or early 20's then roughly 25% of your life is gone.

These are very sobering numbers to look at because these numbers affect each and every one of us .......... yes , even you! You should take your age and calculate just how much of your life is gone. This should give you a sense of your own mortality.

Now there are exceptions to the rule.
People , sometimes ,  do live longer than expected but unfortunately most do not use near all of their estimated allotted time. Check the closest cemetery to you and I bet you'll see for yourself.
What I'm trying to say is life is very fragile!

Just check the daily news.  Even your local news will make mention of various accidents , diseases and random acts of violence that cheat people out of their time on earth. Look at yesterday's headlines (or tomorrow's headlines for that matter) ; and you'll read about people that died not even reaching close to their expected life span.

I'm going to ask you the most important question that can be asked during these turbulent days of uncertainty. If your number was called , unexpectedly , today ; where would you spend eternity?

If you can't answer that question confidently , I pray that you will seek to know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Contact me or any person in management and we can help show you how to answer this question with complete assurance!

I hope every visitor from the Yahoo site has found this site?

Yahoo has officially closed our old site for good. I thank the Lord for the blessings it has brought people. I pray this site will be used to honor God even more.

If you have visited here since we suffered attack , you may have noticed that we are building but work isn't complete. This will be an ongoing process from now to as long as this site is available which I pray it will be here until the Lord returns.

To make this site even better , some new features have been added that I hope will enhance the site.

Along with the sermons , we have added a MP3 player to play the songs while you're on the site. It even has a download feature if you like what you hear. Every music file we have has been given to us and is non-copyrighted. If by any chance any file on this site is copyrighted then please tell me so I can promptly remove it but I have been given permission to host the files found here.

We've also added links to printed sermons that can be found on another site that belongs to Baptist Bible Believer that I hope you will enjoy. There is a ton of other free material on his site so be sure to browse around. If you find any content that you like , drop him and email and tell him you appreicaite his tireless efforts.

We will also be featuring video sermons , mostly hosted on Youtube , by some of our favorite users.

For starters , we have Part 1 of a series of 10 videos , titled "The BIbles Of The Martyrs" You can click on the video Part 1 and be taken to Youtube where you can watch the other 9 videos. These present the history of the english Bibles as well as any resource I've seen and details the price paid by those wishing to get the Word of God to the lost. I know you'll be blessed by those!

We will also feature exceptional posts from the content of the message boards we have built to give readers a glimpse of what they can expect to find on the pages there. We have provided links to these boards on the main menu here.

On these pages here , you will find links that will direct you to genuine Bible Believing websites that contain a wealth of various resources. As time progresses , you will find new interesting additions so please keep checking back for new content. If you like these sites ; then tell your friends!

God bless
